Rotary crimping and pull-force verification combined for aftermarket harness orders with frequent terminal changes.
Challenge
Aftermarket harness orders changed terminal type several times a day, and crimp quality needed to be documented for customers.
Configuration
An RH-CP4S rotary press provided four applicator positions, and an RH-PT10 pull-force tester was added for applicator setup and periodic process checks.
Result
Terminal changes no longer stop the press, and crimp pull-force readings can be recorded for customer quality documentation.
