Challenge
Twisted pair pitch varied between operators, and braid coverage on shielded cable was difficult to control consistently.
Configuration
An RH-TW50 twisting machine and an RH-BR30 braiding machine were introduced, with twist pitch, turn count and take-up speed stored as repeatable jobs.
Result
Twist pitch and braid coverage follow the stored program, so assemblies from different shifts match the same specification.
