Semi-automatic crimping and mapping tests aligned with control harness drawings for low-volume, high-mix work.
Challenge
Control harnesses were assembled in small batches against many drawings, and wiring often failed mapping checks late in the process.
Configuration
An RH-CP80 crimping press with interchangeable applicators and an RH-TS200 tester with stored programmes per harness type were installed at the wiring benches.
Result
Mapping faults are detected at the bench rather than during final assembly, and applicator changeover supports the mixed drawing set.
